ALL FEES ARE PAID ONLINE VIA THE RUGBYXPLORER APP.  UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO CAPACITY FOR PAYMENT PLANS ETC – THIS IS MANDATED BY RUGBY AU. You must register digitally for the season via this app.

LITTLE STINGERS/

COMMUJNITY RUGBY:   $80 flat fee, covering insurance and club Training shirt 

U6/7:                        $230 

U8/9/11:                  $260 

U13/14:                    $375 – this extra fee is to be part of the ‘UQ Junior Heavies’ which includes UQ Junior Bullsharks and                                              Kenmore. This fee is pooled from all three clubs to pay for your special kit and UQ coaches.                                                  Because you are signing up as a Wasp you  still get donated items in the new Wasps player                                                  kit and a previous season Wasps training shirt.

**Unfortunately there is no capacity on the RugbyXplorer App at present to accept Get Started vouchers.  If you have one of these, you will still need to pay the fees online and then the voucher will earn you a rebate (like Medicare).  To pay the whole fees you can either (a) use ZipPay or (b) purchased a prepaid Visa debit card and deposit money in each week until you have enough to pay.  You can also use credit card or a Visa Debit Card with your bank account.

Brisbane junior rugby is governed by three levels of association, BJRU (run the competition), QLD Reds (rugby development) and RugbyAU (accreditation, laws, pathways, insurance for all players). There are fees from these associations not set by us and beyond our control that are part of the total fee.  We try to keep the club fee component low, but it must cover the $12k it costs us to run the club facility, leased to us by the Brisbane City Council.  We have no choice but to pass expenses on to our families, for such things as electricity, security etc.  We try to do as much around the club through the goodwill of our volunteers as we can.

THERE IS A PROCESSING FEE ON THE APP THAT IS SET BY THE PAYMENT PROVIDER.

OUR REFUND POLICY

 Except for hardship or other life circumstances where we would look upon it compassionately, registration fees are not like a shirt you can take back because you don’t like it.  If you register for the season you are making a commitment to our club.  We will rely on that commitment to build teams for the season. If you renege on that commitment, particularly by the time teams are being submitted, it has a significant impact upon us as a small, local community club.

We accept the first two weeks of training as a trial.  After that though, if you have paid the season and withdraw, we recover a  $25 default fee paid to us as club as part of the refund process, because it costs us every time there is training and your child has received the benefits.  This compensation also acknowledges the volunteer time that is required for the administration and management of training, teams, the club, the facility and you withdrawing your child

Every single player is necessary for us to survive and the compensation given us in the refund process addresses that.  We are entitled to receive this under Rugby AU policy.  Full conditions of registration are viewable on the Rugby AU website.

PLEASE NOTE: Refunds only apply prior to competition, once your child plays a game they are not eligible.  Also if you transfer to another club, your fees paid transfer with you, including $12 fee deduction.
